MONOCHROME

PRETTY MUCH EVERYTHING I WANT NOW
I still remembered when I was in high school, pink was my favorite color back then. Until now my friend still always recognised me as the girl who used to wear pink color outfits, because mostly I prefer pink tops and pink stationaries for school. I've made DIY cover with pink and black stripes for my school folders, wearing converse in pale pink colour, used to wear pink cardigans at school and many pink tops for the weekend hangout and Avril Lavigne was my idol (do you still remember her famous black and pink outfits?), now you can imagine how did I look on 8-9years ago.

When I was in college, I may describe my style more eclectic. With limited budget for buying new outfits, I've tried to more playing with various style. Oh on this era, I've started my hobby hunting clothes at a flea market. I've scored a perfect black blazer for only less than $1 and I'm proud I still wear it till now. In college, I might wearing jeans and tee, but tomorrow I might wearing dress and the day after tomorrow I might prefer culottes and paired it with tee and etnic necklace. I mixed up things.

As time goes by, my preference has changed. Last time I checked on my closet, I don't have any pink tops except my swimwear, in fact I still love pink outfits but prefer wear it only in special occasion, like holiday trip because I like the spirit of wearing bright color for holiday. But my current favourite colours: black, grey, brown, white or maybe red (only for lipstick and stuffs). Yes, I know I may bored you with my choices of color, but in term of style, I think I'm more experimental now. I don't mind wearing chunky accessories, wearing unusual pants or maybe wearing man's shoes paired with a skirt.  I'm pretty much trying to wear basic items with a twist from accessories or my make up rather than following trends, Is it because of my age? I'm not sure, but I believe bigger number means you're wise enough to dress appropriately in every occasion. So what's next?

  1. wow, say yes to experimental styling! :)

however, i do believe that our change in style is also affected by our identity seeking. so it'll be keep on changing 'till we found who we really are. at least for the basics. hehe *sotoy*

  2. @sishisemet Indeed! and beside identity seeking, sometimes it simply depends on our mood right? That's why our style keep changing based on our mood of the day and also from our social influences. Hihi.. eh undangan mana nih undangan? *changed topic
