26

Recently two days ago, I'm officially getting older with bigger number and a new year filled with new hope, new joy and new beginnings. I'm 26 now! Wohooooo.. Well being 25 has been awesome. I learned so many things last year, through bad and good experiences. I'm on progress taking out the good ones and will trash the junk, because i believe every bad and good experiences are part of life process and it will definitely brings something meaningful in your life. Now I can't wait for more great moments ahead this year. Finger crossed everything will be allright for this year.
Last but not least, I finally could marked up two of my 2013 wishlists, first is getting that sushi birthday cake from Sushi Tei (I've been wanting this from two years ago and always failed until this year) and second is having lunch or dinner with family on my birthday because the best of all gifts on your birthday is when you have family gather around. Happy new year for me!

FAVORITE ISLAND

Finally first trip together with my favourite childhood friends accomplished on last February. I've known them since we're in Kindergarten, now we're living in the same neighbourhood and we're friends for almost 21 years and still counting!
Actually we had this plan since a couple years ago after our first reunion together, but because of this and that, our plan got canceled many times until two months ago we decided to booked return tickets for three to my favorite island, Bali. My last visit to Bali was just a couple months ago, but surprisingly there's always something new in Bali and our three days in this beautiful island seems not enough. Well there's always 'not enough' for a fun holiday gateway, especially when you spend your holiday with your friends.
Day 1: Unbranded green outer/ Polkadots top from Supre/ Printed pants from Mannequin Plastic/ Black platform sandals from Melissa x Elisabeth de Senneville/ Bag Baobao by Issey Miyake

PLASTIC FANTASTIC

It's been a while since I sat down in front of my notebook and doing nothing but writing on this blog, updating my daily life by posting some pictures. It doesn't mean I was neglecting my notebook, I'm still using it regularly, almost everyday, but when I pressed power button on my notebook, I mostly ended up with making some reports or browsing unnecessary things on the internet and neglecting my blog. But obviously not for today, precisely for this month, my favourite month of the year and I need to write something special for this month.
So what I've been up to? Beside my recent travel story to Bali almost two weeks ago (will write more about it on next post, under Travel Journal tag), first I want to share my current obsession: any kind of stuff made by plastic, one of my green action to save animals by reducing leather stuff. My recent purchased are these comfortable clear jelly sandals from Juju which I really love and plexiglass clutch from Zara.
The sandals bought directly from UK, it was hard to get and I don't know why, they're easily sold out everywhere and all of sudden I found the lucky last pair on my size (it's a bit too tight though, but I still like it). The best part of these sandals are they have 5cm heels to support my height and now I'm not afraid of rainy season.
Over the weekend I've been eyeing for this plexiglass clutch which finally happened to be on my closet now. I was looking for this clutch between two Zara's stores and almost going home with empty handed, but I finally got it on my third visits to Zara's store. I fell in love with this plexiglass clutch at the first time released by Charlotte Olymphia and when I knew Zara has the copy of it, I was over the moon and willing to buy it. I know this bag looks so pretty and will goes with anything, but actually it's fragile and breakable. I should be extra careful when I wear it or it will scratched or broken, but still it's lovely.

A CONFESSION

I was being such a bad blogger by neglecting this blog for a couple months, my last post was on November and that means it's on last year. I don't know what I've been doing lately, but 24 hours feels not enough for a day, so instead of opening my blog pages, I usually prefer open my Instagram account and being such a freak by checking on my account or my friend's photos or friend of my friend's photos or maybe some lucky strangers or some random hashtags literally every five minutes. Now I know what I've been doing lately, I'm addicted to Instagram. No, I don't need any help!

Well first, I admit posting photos for Instagram are much easier and faster than for this blog, because I usually need at least a camera, a notebook and connection to internet for uploading my photos and writing a post on this blog. But for Instagram, I just need my iPhone. Second, only on Instagram everyone could post a photo like a pro does (thanks to people behind the good photo editor apps on android/iPhone). I saw many photos through Instagram, and I found many beautiful pictures made by some ordinary people who even doesn't know how to use a SLR camera. Third, another excuses about me getting addicted to Instagram, I have an online business on Instagram. That keeps me to always being update and alert from other people likes and comments. So basically now I have two accounts, two gadgets and sometimes feel numb on some parts of my fingers because opening Instagram every 5 to 10 minutes, even when I was driving a car. Yes, I think I might need help.

So here are some of my outfit photos on Instagram in case you're not following me or maybe you don't  even have an account (start make one now!).

JEWEL ROCKS

First saw this brand over a year ago at Brightspot market, but never had a chance to own it before until my first visit to their head store in Bali I started falling in love with their creation. I love the idea how they're making friendship bracelets more fun and unique by adding some quirky beads, chain, diamonds... well you named it, and I believed they're already added it on their bracelets. That's the uniqueness of their collection. This Henry bracelet is my new purchased from them and I love every details on it. Believed me, once you like and wearing this small little bracelets on your arm, you'll want some more. For buying online, you can visit here. :)
